Vicki Pizanis has served as a dental hygiene educator for over thirteen years at the University of New Mexico Dental Hygiene Program and as a clinic coordinator for ten years. She has published on a wide variety of education and clinical topics including effective clinical education, service learning, and local anesthesia. Her clinical interests include treating patients with special needs, and she was awarded a $2.5 million in HRSA grant to fund a special needs dentistry program at UNM. Dr. Pizanis has been involved in furthering the dental hygiene profession at multiple levels and served on the staff of ADHA as the Education and practice specialist. In 2017 Vicki earned her doctorate degree in educational leadership. She is the founder and CEO of Educators Platform and co-founder of Clinicians Platform. She has and passion to support dental hygienists in all roles with the highest quality of education in collective mission to shape dental hygiene.

Lindsey Lee has been in dentistry since 2000 and has embraced the life of professional expansion. Lindsey has worked as a dental assistant, hygienist, operations manager, and nurse and is currently serving as the Director of the University of New Mexico’s dental hygiene program. Her comprehensive mindset has launched practice success and dental hygienist’s earning potential. Her talent for understanding and addressing the needs of hygienists has fostered dental hygiene career growth and development. As a pioneering hygienist fostering scope of practice expansion, Lindsey continues to push the boundaries of what dental hygienists can achieve.
