Nectarios Pavlakos, RDH, DDS

Dr. Pavlakos completed a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from the University of New Mexico.  He then went on to complete his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Missouri Kansas City as well as a residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry, at the University of New Mexico. Dr. Pavlakos has 10 years of clinical experience in the private practice sector, as well as hospital based dental care at the University of New Mexico and the Raymond G. Murphy VA hospital. He currently serves as an assistant professor at the University of New Mexico, Department of Dental Medicine, where he provides patient care and clinical instruction to dental residents in restorative/prosthodontic dentistry, pediatric, implant dentistry, periodontics, oral surgery, and hospital-based dentistry.  Additionally, Dr. Pavlakos serves as a Contractor Medical Director for Noridian Healthcare solutions, assisting CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services) in administering the Medicare Part B benefit dental expansion.
