UPCOMING - Implicit Bias Training Part 2 - Playing With F.I.R.E.

1 CE | LIVE on December 10th, 11AM CT

Descriptions: Bias is a part of being human that everyone experiences. Sometimes, our biases help us choose the right people for a team or support those who need help. Other times, they lead us to judge others unfairly when we do not have all the facts. We should never ignore our biases; doing so can lead to unproductive behavior that inevitably impacts our professional and personal relationships. Instead, we should explore our beliefs and opinions, trace their origins, and develop self-awareness to be more present and intentional when engaging with others.

Marv’s Implicit Bias presentation explains the psychological effects of the limbic system and offers practical ways to mitigate them, improving social interactions in personal and professional settings. The goal is to make learning fun, effective, and transferable to the spaces where you work and live.

This CE is perfect for: The Entire Dental Team - Dentist, Dental Hygienist, Dental Assistants, Front Office Associates, & Administration.

Objectives:

  • Provide intrapersonal tools to manage biased behavior
  • Provide time for questions, answers, and reflection
