UPCOMING - Claim Your Calm

1 CE | LIVE on February 6th, 11AM CT

Descriptions: Stress is part of the job—but it doesn’t have to take over your life. In this interactive course, we’ll explore what really happens in your body and mind under stress, why hygienists experience it so intensely, and how to find (and keep) your calm even on the busiest days. You’ll learn simple, science-backed techniques you can use anytime—inside and outside the operatory—to stay calm, focused, and resilient no matter what life may throw at you.

Objectives:

  • Understanding the Science of Stress: Gain a foundational understanding of how stress affects the body and mind—examining both its functional role in performance and its cumulative impact on overall health.

  • Recognizing the Factors Behind Burnout in Dental Hygiene: Understand the physical, emotional, and systemic stressors inherent to dental hygiene, and understand how these cumulative demands contribute to chronic stress and burnout (and why you may be feeling so low).

  • Developing Skills for Resilience and Renewal: Learn and practice practical techniques to calm the nervous system, restore focus, and build lasting resilience—tools designed to support both professional performance and personal well-being.

  • Plug + Play: Identify what triggers your stress both inside and outside the operatory, and build a simple game plan using the stress management tools you learn today.
